I have been a fan of the original sims game for a long time but I am now considering buying the sims 2. I want to know if it is better than the original or should I just stick with what I got?

i have the entire sims 1 set.. and sims2 is sooo much better. the customization on your characters and new areas with the expansions is great. the detail and graphics are so much better. i love both of them but i will say i prefer sims2 over sims 1 anyday!

If you like the sims then you're going to love the sims 2. It's better in every way. The modding community is huge aswell so you'll never be stuck for something extra to download. The custom content people create is fantastic too, sims 2 fans are spoiled for choice. It's well worth buying. Check out the official Ea site for the designer walkthroughs which show you everything you want to know.

Sims 2 is the best!My friends and I have all the Sims 2s.Its much better then the regular Sims.But if your computer has a lot of stuff on it the Sims 2 runs really slow.

The Sims 2 is just as addicting or maybe even more addicting than Sims take from a orginal sim addict.

if you liked the sims 1, you will love the sims 2... it is way better than the original.. it has better graphics and everything.. your sims will age from toddler to elders, many goals to fulfill and much more things to do... ^_^

The Sims2 is just an "upgraded" version of the Sims so it can only be better...way better...really worth the buy...
