I know there must be a school or two in America that does not support or teach marxism, maybe BYU, I don't know are there any others.

Where do you send your kids to school so they will not be indoctrinated in marxism?

thanks everyone for taking part in this exercise of hypocrisy. one key to success in life is to be tolerant of others and allow them the right of freedom of speech, and as so many of you have chosen to shout me down, insult my intelligence and in essence be totally intolerant of anything except your world view, you have proved my point about marxist philosophy in public education.

I attended the University of Delaware and earned a B.A. in Sociology and we learned Marxism because it is one of the fundamental building blocks of modern sociology!!! In fact, some people call him "The father of modern sociology"! It has to be taught in school and it raises some very good issues that are still relevant today. Whether you agree with his research or not shouldn't be the issue. Rather it should be that all points of view are taught in an unbiased and educational manner. Have you ever even read "The Communist Manifesto"? ...Or are you simply going on our government's definitions of communism?

Also, it has a lot to do with your major.... with a major like sociology, you learn a lot about Karl Marx. However, if you get a degree in mathematics or Business, I doubt you will learn about him at all unless in one of your electives.

Actually, I attended a public university, where I earned a B.A. in Spanish with a minor in German. I never once took a course called Marxism 101!

Sounds like you haven't been anywhere near a college campus! You're just buying all the right wing BS straight off the shelf.

Did you ever wonder why so many foreigners come to the US for a college education?

Ummmm.... wow: what a silly thing to say. Why on Earth do you think that any American Universities are promoting Marxism?

Just out of curiosity, are you in favor of teaching ID instead of Evolution?

yes, I feel that way about Bob Jones University and Jerry Falwell's misnamed "Liberty" University, although instead of communism and marxism, the students are brainwashed with a steady, mind numbing and soul crushing lobotomy of anti secular, theocratic hogwash and fascist nationalist jingoism

I take it human beings are no longer able to form their own opinion anymore.
By your logic, if a Christian reads the Koran he or she is in danger of becoming a Muslim.
People are quite capable of accessing right and wrong on their own. It didn't take stone tablets from Mt. Sinai for people to know it's wrong to kill other people, lie, cheat, or steal.

Univerities in America teach biology, physics, chemistry, mathematics, engineering, accounting, finance, marketing, nursing, medical school, biotecnology, foreign languages...don't be so gullible and ignorant, or, better yet, go to university and learn something new, mate.
