Does she have a registry anywhere? Another thing I have seen before is a baby basket. A mom will need lots of cheap odds and ends for the baby like a pacifier, lotions, bottle cleaner, bottles, q tips, washclothes, etc. Just either wrap them all up individually or put them on a decorative tray or in a basket. A mom could never have too much of those kinds of things!

Get a big laurdry basket and fill it with goodies like diapers, wipes, soaps, lotions...etc... Those things are always needed! You can even put some stuff in there to pamper her...like bubble bath and some candles.

There are different things. Especially co-ed things. I for one would look for all types of colors. I'd buy a bouncer, stroller, diaper trash or any type of crib toys. Gender with these type of thing really don't matter,

A portable swing. It's not too pricey and it comes in handy whether she is at home or at a friends. It folds up when your not using it. I had one for all three of my children and absolutely loved it!
