I HAVE BEEN FOR NEARLY A FECKING DECADE!!!!!!
Thank God someone else is sick and tired of seeing those hardly covered arses jumping in front of the camera, girls jumping around basically saying 'look at my titties! look at my titties!' and fellas with more gold chains than Mr. T and diamonds in their mouths bragging about the sex life and the guts and the money they fecking wish they had...
It's getting old!!!!!!!
Besides, it just sounds better when Axl Rose does it.

This whole question/statement is worded incorrectly, do you know what rnb is? rnb and rap are two different genres of music. To say you are sick of the rnb thing because they rap about shooting some is just over classifying. 9 times out 10 a rnb song is to do with love not killing someone. Do you not see 'stuipid' white girls in skimpy outfits in dance, house videos etc? I sure do. I am sick of women degreading themselves for a bit of change whether black, white or asian, but guess what sex sells! And that crosses all borders of music not just 'urban' music. Not all rappers tallk about shooting someone dont be so ignorant, to those that do i agree that it is disgusting, naive simple minded people believe that crap and go out and think they can be like 50 cent. So yes i am sick with the glofication of guns and the demeaning language, acts of women in those type of videos.

Me for one can't stand someone mouthing off about things they hardly even know about. These lyrics talk to our young and if anything they push them into being the people they are to become. Never mind cops in the street, lets have some kind of policing of the "music" our kids have to listen to. It's happened all through the ages why not now. Censorship is a good thing when our children don't have to listen to all this Urban rap or should I say "Crap". Fine for those who have to live the life and understand the reason for them, but for the poor teenager who lives in a village, what's the point. Give those who don't know the chance to show those who do a better way in life. Nuff sed !!!

lmao I know what you mean! I mean a good song comes out of it all once and awhile but for every good song there is lik a 100 bad ones with bad videos of people flashing all there gold and money that could be used to help the starvin marvins in Africa etc, I noticed a lot of them wasn't seen at Live 8 lmao! When they could stop it all! Some of the vids have too many girls to focus on so I don't find it too good to be fair, and some of them are ugly with jugs so there is no point! But to be fair I don't want the whole rock (emo sh/t) to become popular neither hence the reason, you can't beat the oldies! lol

So you don't hate the music, but you just can't stand the content of the lyrics and how popular it is?
Well, it's on MTV and the radio for a reason. The people that like it outnumber you, and others like you who think its "sooooo annoying," so you're pretty much screwed on that front. It's popular for a reason.
But I agree with you, the lyrics are all the same in all the songs. And the sad part is, for alot of white people, the only exposure they get to the black culture is bullshit rap songs, so I think hip hop breeds alot of racism.

I'm tired of it not be quality as it once was, I think the industry is promoting what sells and unforunately this is what people are buying therefore its perpetuated and expected. The music industry constantly changes and uses sexuality to promote albums, with exploitation of women of all creeds and colors.
I don't support these artist and won't until someone comes along whose worth the investment
Another thing is that these artists rap about what they've been through and how LIFE is to them so you being judgemental and not being able to relate is not for you to criticize things aren't always PEACHY keen and music is an outlet for their pain. Yes, it needs to be addressed in a more reserved way...I do agree with you one that but tell your friends stop buying the albums

I agree with you that most of the R&B that is popular today is trash, but that doesn't mean that R&B as a genre is bad. There are many R&B singers with real talent: Alicia Keys, Toni Braxton, Stevie Wonder, Tina Turner, Whitney Houston, and the late great Luther Vandross.

Dont care for gangster kind of stuff. Bad example. Can't say I mind the skimpy outfits and all that, though even I cringed a bit at Kelis milkshake. Not sure if thats the same kind of music.

Yes, i am. There used to be a time when 'urban' music was a way to escape the 'ghetto' and to educate.
It was 'different.'
Now it is just a money making scheme like everthing else.
I've never liked the music, i'm a rock chick, but i could stand it if i thought the artist actually wanted to say something.
