battle they would rather bury their heads in the sand then make a stand. I do undertand some of the things they are unhappy about. As long as it is a war of words they are on the frontlines. As AMERICANS we need to all understand, the fanatics will never stop EVER. I know that the libs are going to knock on my education, thats fair (I am not well educated).IBut being of simple mind I see it as a simple answer. Who best to protect my country and the future of my 7 kids. A very out spoken LIB or a over the top NEOCON .Let LIB worry about the gay carnaval.Let NEOCON run our war.

My ignorant friend, I am a vet of two wars and now work closely with vets at a VA Hostile and know for a fact that there are as many, if not more, Democrats as there are Republican serving our country.
And as to our wonderful vets, there are many more Senators and Congressmen in our government who are Democrats who served in our armed services than there are Republicans.

That's the problem. There will always be people willing to commit acts of terror. IT does not matter how many wars you fight against it. Terrorism is an idea. It's not a country or a group of people. It's a tactic. You can't win a war on an idea. It makes no sense. So if you want to get rid of terrorism, you have to address the reason that people have the idea in the first place. Once they have the idea it's too late to make a difference. Waging war on those people only draws more people to it's cause. It's self destructive.

Ok, following is a link to an article by a marine who served three tours in Iraq. He thinks the war is not winnable and is creating rather than destroying more enemies of the U.S. Maybe you should read what he has to say.
I realize that you and many other conservatives think that the war in Iraq is actually accomplishing something, but you're wrong.
Let's fight terrorism in an intelligent way instead of wasting lives and resources in a ridiculous war.

Ask yourself this one little question:
Why did Bush Sr. stop short of taking Baghdad?
Either taking it was a dumd idea, or not taking it was a dumb idea.
I would support every over the top neocon going to war. that might alter their view on it somewhat. As for running it, it's been four years- how long do you spin your wheels in the mud before you get out and push?

no. Unless you want to use your own tax dollars to fund your own wars. That would be fine. Reps can blow things up, and dems can protect rights and resources. Just don't come trying to use our state parks and free education. your money has been used up already on Iraq.
