Guys like athletic girls, as long as they don't outweigh them by 30 lbs. or more - lol. And they are allowed to swing both ways (switch hit??).
Seriously, if you are a good person, it doesn't matter. And if you are into sports, that gives you one thing in common right off the bat (no pun intended).

It depends on the guy. If the guy is athletic then he will probably like a girl who is athletic. If the guy is not then he probably will not like someone who is better than him at sports. But there is no quarantee of either of these. Different guys are attracted to different things about girls.
I personally married a girl who played softball and cheered in high school. This makes for great dates, I can take my wife to a baseball or football game and she knows what is going on.

Most guys would like a female softball player as long as she maintains some sense of femininity. The shorts/socks combination is hot. That said, the huge softball players that are stronger than a lot of guys aren't exactly what most guys go for.

I'm going to have to say no from my experience. I don't want to generalize with a broad term like softball girls. But, from my experience they are out of shape compared to girls on a dance team, ice skaters, swimmers, cross country runners, soccer players, and other sport participants. Plus softball chants are one of the most annoying things in the world to baseball players. But to answer your question honestly I think most guys dig a girl who plays a sport like softball as opposed to a softball player.

It doesnt matter what she plays. If I like her, I like her. I happen to have liked some girls who played softball. Just athletic girls overall.

Most opposite sex are attracted by the extra-ordinary skilll they presued...else is understandable as u play softball, tennis, football or swimming...are prime attracters as u know steffi grafh, tennis star anna karnikova, russian star..

I am not a sexist, but it has to do with the physical abilities of young men and women. Notice I didn't say boys and girls. Boys and girls can play t-ball and coach pitch together, but as they mature, boys will become much stronger and faster. As you move into the older divisions of baseball the base paths are longer and the fences farther away, while in softball the base paths stay relatively shorter and the fences closer. While the ball is larger in softball the players can field it and make throws accurately because the distance is less. Girls can and have played baseball at all levels, but for more of them to be competitive, softball is the better sport.
