Where do these people come up with these answers. First of all 50cc is the size of the engine. Not the speed. You are asking, something like how fast will a car go? Well, what type of 50cc are you talking about? Just the motor? Or is the engine installed on a minibike or a mini scooter or a full sized scooter? Who is riding it? someone who weighs 50 pounds or 450 pounds? Get specific about a question, then ask it. If you start a 50cc motor that is sitting on the ground, it will go 4,000-6,000 rpm, but won't cover any ground. If it's on a mini-bike, it could hit 40-45, if there were a small person on it, say under 100 pounds. If it were on a full sized motor scooter and a senior citizen were sitting on it in Florida, who happened to weigh 450 pounds, then more like 20-25 miles per hour. That answer your question?

A 50cc scooter will do about 30mph. Not very fast at all. If it's a very light scooter and you are quite skinny you might be able to top it out at 35mph, on the flat, of course. More downhill. Less uphill. It's good fun for your first motorised transport but you'll soon get frustrated with it and want a bike.

I owned a 50cc Honda Elite scooter about 12 years ago. It got up to 45 mph before it started shaking. Probably would have gone up to 50-55 mph, but I didn't feel safe trying.

Depends on rider weight and elevation, but most China 49cc 4-stroke scooters have a top speed of around 30-35 mph on level ground.

50 cc's is not fast. try to remember that scooters arent meant to be fast. 50 cc is the lowest amount of power. it will probably top out at about 15 mph, depending on the terrain and the condition of the scooter.

2 stroke ones are slow. The best ones can do 55mph at a push when derestricted, most will do about 45-50mph. 4 stroke ones are very slow, an average one will do about 35-40mph.
Hit a decent headwind or steep hill and they really struggle.
