there is a chaper in every SAT(1&2) test prep book, called study process schedule , always with two or three kind study process . 2,6,.8,12 ,16 week etc .but you can only follow the 2 week panic one now ^^
i think well prep SAT1 require at least 8~16 week prep ,SAT2 require at least 4 ~8 week
for my example ,in my school days of high school 10~12 grades ,i following the schedule of two test prep books ,then i got the better scores than i predict in each four time i took SATs ,so,i am able to apply better college ^^
good luck ^^ ........just take it easy

For SAT, I used Kaplan because of the fact i like the layout. For SAT II, I used Barron's because of the element. For APs, I used Barron's because of the element. i might advise going to collegeboard and buying prepare APs from them. that's some thing I desire i might have achieved. that's been 8 years on condition that i grow to be severe college!
