Definitly preorder! Each store is only allowed so many copies, and most are gone cause of preorders, so you cant get it until practially weeks later unless you preorder!
I preordered today! Did you know that the list price over here (in America) is $35! But, by preordering, I got it for $18! And I got a nifty Harry Potter booklight FREE! YAY!
Seriously, though, preorder.

The book is scheduled to be released globally in English-speaking countries shortly after midnight 00:01, British Summer Time, on July 21, 2007. However, in the U.S. (which spans several time zones), the book will be released for sale within each time zone at 00:01 local time, a few hours after the other English-speaking countries.

If you see a middle aged or older person reading a book in a brown paper cover - you bet it's a Harry Potter. We just don't want you to know we're reading them and that's why the supply will have run out before opening night.....yeeeehaaa! broomstix awayyyyyyyy!!!
