Hey girl, you've got a vitamin deficiency. Vitamin A deficiency. You need to increase your intake of foods rich in this vitamin. ie..: fish liver oil, liver, carrotts, dark green and yellow vegies, eggs, milk and dairy products, margarine and yellow fruits. The color intensity of a fruit or vegetable is not necessarily a reliable indicator of its Vit. A. content.
If your eyes are very light sensitive, with burning and you're constantly squinting, increasing your intake of foods rich in this vitamin will relieve your symptoms.
**** Note: Information on the news lately that vitamin supplementation doesn't work is actually referring to the fat soluble vitamins, Vit's A,D,E & K, and in those situations people had actually been overdosing hundreds of times on these vitamins. Care needs to be exercised when supplementing your diet with vitamin tablets, particularly the fat soluble vitamins such as these cos they are stored in your body's fatty deposits for use at a later date when needed. This is opposed to water soluble vitamins such as the B complex group of vitamins which are simply excreted in your urine when taken in excess.*******
If you are getting headaches everyday that indicates that you must also be deficient in vitamin B12. Deficiencies in this vitamin will produce headaches, migraines, depression, irritability, moodiness, fatigue and exhaustion, head and sweats, inability to concentrate, dizziness etc.etc.
When our bodies are placed in stress situations we need to increase our intake of the B group of vitamins. You need to increase your intake of foods rich in this vitamin ie: yeast, liver, eggs, milk, cheese and fish, kidney and pork.
The recommended daily allowance for adults is 2mcg. I suggest you go to the chemist and ask the pharmacist to recommend a good quality brand for you to buy. Simply ask for a multi B complex supplement.
For B12 to be properly assimilated through the stomach it is necessary to be combined with calcium during absorption to adequatly benefit the body.
In the human diet B12 is supplied primarily by animal products, since plant products usually dont contain it.
B12 vitamins will alleviate your headaches and any other symptoms you may have. Also, make sure you avoid getting hydrated.
Sore lips, mouth and tongue, cracked and splitting skin around your fingernails and grainy and sandy feeling eyes are also symptoms of vitamin B deficiency (B2 - Riboflavin). This vitamin will be included in the Multi B complex supplement that you buy. The recommended for this vitamin is 1.2 - 1.7mg.
Foods rich in B2 are milk, liver, kidney, cheese, leafy green vegies, fish, eggs, yoghurt and beans.
If you are a vegetarian and have excluded eggs and dairy products from your diet, then you need B12 & B2 supplementation. Heavy protein consumers also need extra amounts of this vitamin. B12 and B2 work best synergistically with all the other B vitamins, hence my advice to get yourself a B complex vitamin supplement. Women may find B 12 helpfull as part of a B complex during and just prior to menstruation.
If you choose to follow my advice you'll be very pleased you did as you will most likely release from your symptoms with a few hours.
PEACE & LIGHT

Well, I have suffered from migraines for 29 years (I'm 45) and this does not sound like a migraine. There are other types of headaches that people suffer from: There's the cluster headache, the tension headache, the sinus headache and the icepick headache. There are probably other types that I'm not aware of. My son used to get icepick headaches. That name comes from the feeling that the sufferer experiences when these come on. It feels as if someone is literally stabbing you in the head with an icepick. It comes on suddenly and can last a short time or a long time. I've heard that cluster headaches are headaches that are severe in intensity and can come and then leave and then a short time later, come back again. They come in clusters, so to speak. What it sounds like you might be experiencing, is something my sister also suffers from. She gets sinus headaches. The sinus pockets can be in the jaw and teeth area and when the sinuses are backed up, it can cause incredible pain such as you described. These headaches can come on during the night when pollens in the night air are more pronounces and then when you wake up in the morning, you feel just horrible. My sister takes an allergy pill before she goes to bed and it helps to prevent these headaches. Some people are more proned to allergy problems which can trigger such a headache. My sister has found that taking something such as Allerclear (available at Costco) or Claritin works for her, but Sudafed works best when she takes one dose before bed if she is having any headache activity during the day. This helps prevent these headaches from occuring when she wakes up. My sister is a nurse and feels that this is safe as a preventative. With Sudafed however, because it is used by those who make illegal drugs, you have to go to the pharmacist at the store you purchase it at and ask for it (do not need a prescription - you just have to personally ask the pharmacist for it). This is a safeguard that stores use to ensure that people don't buy this medicine in large quantities. I wish you the best with your headaches. If this continues though, you should see a doctor. Any headache that is out of the norm and is very painful, should be discussed with a doctor because there could be an important medical reason why this is happening.

Tylenol is all right to take when pregnant, but if you are getting headaches every day, you may want to make an appointment with your doctor. It could be a couple things. The pressure from the fluid in your eyes changes while pregnant, so that could be causing the pain and headache or you could be slightly dehydrated. Be sure you're drinking plenty of water. Severe or persistent headaches in the third tri. might be high blood pressure. Get some water and get some rest and if you don't see improvement, call the doc. Good luck!

When I was about 7 months pregnant i started getting headaches all the time, first started out as swollen ankles and it was painful to walk or stand for over an half hour, then it moved on to headaches. I went to the Dr. and found out my blood pressure was up, turns out i had preeclampsia. i was rushed to the hospital and delivered the very next day. If i were you id let my Dr. know about your headaches as soon as possible if it is preeclampsia it can be dangerous to you and your unborn baby.

hi there. i had terrible headaches in my 1st and 2nd trimester. i started seeing a chiropractor and now, at 25 weeks, i haven't had a headache in several weeks. so i don't know if it's the weeks of pregnancy or the chiropractor that has stopped the headaches. but they were awful and i was on tylenol every day. not fun, but my midwife said it was fine to take it.

I had preeclampsia during my pregnancy and this was the first sign of it. (Right behind the eyes as you described.)
