In Sims 2 university, are university buildings on the screen at once or must you keep loading up?

ie - do you keep having to load up whenever you travel from dorm to lecture etc, or is it all on the screen at once? My computer is slow at loading and so this would be a real pain. Is 'university' worth getting?

You don't actually go with your sims to lectures. You move them into a dorm or a house depending on how much money they have (the dorm is free). They then go to lectures like adult sims go to work. There are other buildings in the university neighbourhood such as The student union etc. If you want to visit these places then you will have to put up with loading screens but it's totally optional (like going shopping in a neighbourhood). University is a good expansion and adds a new age group to the game called "young adult".

All expansions are worth it because they all bring something new to the game. At this point I dont think I could survive without Nightlife & Seasons and Uni is probably the one I use the least, I do send the kids to Uni, but I have never completed a major there yet.
I think you have to look at what each expansion will bring to your game and decide what would be the most enjoyable for yourself. My daughter would probably say she cannot do with Pets! Everyone has different expectations from the game.

yes just like the base game, wherever you will go it will load, in the university when going to class your sims will just disappear just like going to work.. but when you will go to other building you need to get a taxi and that means loading... the loading screen is unavoidable, me what i do is i just stick to the dorm and don't go to other places.. but university is a bit boring so try to think of other expansions first but it's alright if you want to try a college experience..

you dont actually go to lecture. its like going to work. your character just leaves the lot and comes back when there done. no following required. and university is a very fun expansion.
