It is available for an additional $50 per person valid for 1 day and let's you "skip the lines". I'm considering because we plan on going during Spring Break which is so busy . I am afraid the kids won't get to ride many rides and spend their day in lines. Any other tips welcome!

The price of the Exoress pass varies with the time of year you are going to Universal. If you go during the busy months then they increase the price. Capitalism at work. The Universal web site says $50.00 gets you the following:

This pass allows you to bypass the regular lines by providing Express Access to almost every attraction at both Universal Studios Florida® AND Universal's Islands of Adventure® theme parks. Express Access is a separate line at each valid attraction with an average wait of only 15 minutes or less.
Now, you get to use the pass at almost every attraction but you only get to use once at each attraction. The web site has the following:
The Express Plus Pass is valid for one (1) entry per accessible attraction to the theme park of your choice.

But if you have the extra cash, it is well worth it. You might explore the possibility of staying at one of the Universal hotels. The resorts are a little pricey but you get unlimited use of the express lines without purchasing the express pass. So if there are 4 people you will spend $200 for express passes. If the 4 of you can sleep in one room then the cost to you would be the price of the room. Then the 4 of you can use the express line unlimited times. Your room keys is the express pass. BTW, if you stay one night at the resort, you get to use the express lines for 2 days. The day you check in (you can do this very early) you can get a room key that allows you to use the express line. If your room is not ready, they will still issue a pass - you'll just have to get your room key later in the day.. The next day you check out, but you can still use your room key as the express pass for the rest of the day. One night - 2 days of express. There are small discounts available for rooms. Try a travel agent or AAA.
Also AAA can save you 10% at select dining and merchandise locations in the two Universal theme parks (savings not available at food or merchandise carts and does not apply to tobacco, candy, film, collectibles and sundry items).

AAA members also save 10% at CityWalk (discount on food, non-alcoholic drinks and merchandise at all Universal Studios CityWalk Orlando restaurants with the exception of Emeril's Restaurant). Applies to member and immediate family (up to 6 people). Show your membership card to get the discount.

Try to get your tickets before you arrive. You want to get into the parks as soon as they open. If you are early, then at IOA do the hulk and then spiderman. These lines build extremely fast.

Universal Studios Orlando Express Pass

Express pass is defnintely worth it. A lot of us try to use the Fast Passes in the park, but they are almost always gone and then you can only get one at a time anyway. So we end up in line for most of the day.

If you are going to Islands of Adventure, go in the park and head straight to the back for Dueling Dragons and the Unicorn coaster. Then work your way back toward Jurassic Park. Most people run right for The Hulk coaster and Spider-man ride, just skip them - they are ALWAYS busy, so why wait right away? Even with the Express pass, you may wait for 20 minutes at Spider-man, but it is worth any wait. It will be the best adventure ride you will ever find!

Have a great time!

Yes, it is worth it. The lines at Universal Orlando can get rather large. I had the express pass when I went last early May and I was VERY glad that I got it. We were able to bypass 1.5 hr. lines and only have to wait 20 min. or so for the huge lines. For other lines, we got in much faster--usually between 5 and 10 min. for the fairly popular ones. Now California, that one is different--the lines there are short as it is.

It depends on what time of year you're going.

You said you're going during spring break so it would probably be well worth it as you would get to skip a lot of the lines.

I would certainly recommend going for it. If you were going during a "down time" I would say you wouldn't need it, but spring break is a heavy time & it may be really crowded. go for it!

We did, it's worth it. Otherwise, especially at this time of the year....you have to wait in herendiously long lines.

The only downside is that you're likely not the only people who've purchased these passes and are standing in the express lines. But they do cut the time down significantly.

Early April is extremely busy and well worth paying for it. I am going in May and have bought them.

The price must have gone up. It used to be $35.00
Ask if they have a family express pass...

But yeah..it's definitely worth it. Otherwise you're in line for a LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG time (you're the N & G).. the "O" are the time's you wrap around for a ride.

Express pass: not that LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG of a wait
