GWB already answered this when he said he will stay the course even if Laura and Barney are the only ones supporting him. I think Barney bailed out on him already though.

They hear, but they will never heed. There isn't going to be a complete withdrawal from Iraq. Even if the Democrats take the Presidency our military will stay in Iraq for many, many years. I heard Barrack Obama say as much last night on Larry King.

earlier any well-known in any conflict makes a conflict plan, the 1st concern he desires is a map. If we've been extreme on the subject of the conflict on terror and we believed the international places that George Bush indexed because of the fact the axis of evil, all of them border Iraq apart from North Korea. With bases in Iraq and Afghanistan, we've a super strategic benefit in launching air strikes or specific operation missions. like it or no longer i think of we are in this for the long haul.

very little of the time do the public get to vote on important things that effect them. Most of the decision are made by the people in power for the people in power and the needs of people in power or to please other People in power. I don't live in the USA and have never been but that's what it's like over here well I think anyway.

If you believe that public support is the only guiding principle for making public policy, were you in favor of passing a constitutional amendment banning gay marraige after the 2004 elections?
As I recall, 80% of Americans were against gay marraige...or is enacting the declared will of 'the people' only a good idea when it falls your way?
