Just because for most people, it is not "normal" not to have a girlfriend at your age. But they are wrong. I'm 34, I don't have kids, I'm not married and I don't have any boyfriend. I am fine like that. there is no law that says you have to have a girlfriend or get married. Just ignore them, just as long as you are happy!

In today's society some have high expectations for other's sexual activity. I grew up with the same drama, because I wasn't into degrading women or going between the first pair of open legs, I was soft. Even the women who wanted to "give me some" would call me gay or say I was scared of p*ssy when I declined. I think the men and women who do this are only interested in making themselves look good.

our society is based on a marriage ideal where you are supposed to be married between 18-21 and have kids immediately afterwards. this Protestant ideal does not fit with our current society. there are a number of reasons for this which i am sure you are aware of. in another generation things will be better, but right now we're still living under the shadow of our grandparents' conservative ideals. you can't change people's minds so forget about that. just know who you are and embrace yourself.

you know,
there is this guy that I'm REALLY good friends with, and he goes through the same sh*t daily. He has his reasons for taking a break from females, but because of that people assume he's gay.
He just ignores them, they are TRYING to get a rise outta you, and once you start getting defensive, they are going to throw THAT back in your face too, ( happend to my friend) Saying if it wasn't true wahy are you geting butt hurt,
It's childness, the accuser is truely the guilty.

Ignorance and unhappy peers that you encounter in my personal opinion. Please do not allow anyone to invade your privacy and personal life. Do not let them analyze you and do not let them see your sweat. Go on with your daily life. You are not alone my peers also picked on me and I had to get marry in a hurry when I was 26 years old.Because, I was afraid that no one wanted me or something wrong with me.However, it turns out that is is good thing but, I am not sure it will work for everyone.

Ask the person why they want to know. Ask if they are coming out of the closet. Say I'm not gay but maybe you will find someone soon.

A simple rule of thumb that has served me well so far is simply that people suck. If you know who you are and what you are, don't worry about what anyone else thinks.

As long as you know yourself, standground on it. Do not mind the gossips of others, they will just destroy your feelings and reputations.
