I take it it is out of warranty? Unfortunate, but you might just call the 1-800 number and see how much Microsoft will charge you to fix it, mine had the red ring of death but it was still under warranty and they sent me a new (refurbished) machine the same day they got mine, took all of a week to get the new machine.

same thing is happening to mine!!! you have to call Microsoft's support and send in your 360. it cost about $150 but i don't know of any other places that are authorized repair places!

I don't think there is anyone licensed to fix 360's that aren't from Microsoft. I would say ship it back.

I would say to look at your paperwork from when you got it and see if there is any repair places on it or any numbers to call for technical support.
