The pills aren't effective if you don't follow the directions. Are you trying to get pregnant? You are supposed to take them at the same time everyday. Try and be more responsible.

Yes, there is a chance you could be pregnant. If you miss more than 1 pill, you should always use backup forms of birth control. How long ago did you have sex? If it was within 72 hours you can get the morning after pill, otherwise, you just have to wait. Most pregnancy tests will not show up positive until 5-8 days AFTER your missed period, so if by saturday you still don't have your period, take another test. First response is the best because it finds the pregnancy hormone before other tests do. Don't freak out, sometimes, when you are really nervous or stressed out, your period is late because of that. Next time, don't miss your pills! And if you are not taking them at the same time, everyday, there is no point in taking them, so maybe, if you are having problems remembering to take them, you should consider the shot, or use condoms everytime! Good luck!

Even if you had taken the pill EXACTLY as you were supposed to --- which you did not --- there is always a possibility of pregnancy because NO method is 100% effective ever.
I would wait till the end of the week and retest.
If it comes back negative again, consider the fact that maybe you're just stressing yourself into no period and think about making an appointment with your doctor just to be certain.
And then use this as a lesson learned.

I did about the same thing one time. I had gone off the pill for three months before I got preggo with my son, so I thought, "A couple missed pills won't hurt anything..."
Chalk it up to smart people making stupid decisions, because I DID get pregnant that month...
A sensitive test would have detected pregnancy by the first day of your missed period, so there's still hope! Let this be a lesson to you...if you miss pills, USE A BACKUP METHOD!!!

There is a chance that you could be pregnant. I would think that missing your birth control pill 5 times during the month may have messed up your hormones enough to cause a delay in your period. Our hormones are sensitive little buggers, aren't they?!
Good Luck.

Chances are you're stressing for no reason.
The pregnancy test WOULD say negative because you're testing too early. You haven't even missed your period yet.
My period always came on Tuesday, but sometimes it wouldn't come until Wednesday or Thursday.
There's always a chance you're pregnant, but just hold on with the stressing for another week or so.

when you have sex, there is always that chance of you getting pregnant. that's how i got pregnant with my first one. but, don't fret. since the test said you weren't, then maybe you're not. periods can be really unpredictable sometimes. you can't say they ALWAYS come on a specific day.
Soooo, wait it out. Even give it 2 weeks max. Then, if it still doesn't come, take the pregnancy test again. Goodluck!

Of COURSE you could be pregnant!!! if you miss only two, the general rule is to use a condom for the rest of the cycle...
It could also be that the messed up hormones have thrown your schedule off, especially if you picked up the next day with the missed ones.
It's disturbing to think that someone so irresponsible might actually reproduce.

I'd say the odds of you being pregnant are fair to good. It's probably too soon for it to show up on a pregnancy test -- wait a few days and try again.

Wait another week or so and take another test...if it is negative you might want to switch to another type of birth control that you do not have to take every day...talk to your doctor about your options for different birth control.
