If anybodybody could give me a link showing me how to put eyeliner, i'd be grateful. I've tried several times, but i've got the impression i'm either not putting enough or i'm putting too much.

I used liquid eyeliner by the way.

First throw the liquid away, It's awful stuff. Buy a pencil that does not require sharpening but one that twists up. Apply it underneath your bottom lashes, try and draw a straight line, if it is not real straight take a q-tip and run it along to create a straight line. for you top lid I personally think that guys look better with it kind of smudged and not a perfect line. draw a line on the top and then take your finger and sort of draw it up and then rub it in a little. My chemical Romance wears the eyeliner and I think that it looks really good. I hope that this helps, I have put it on plenty of guys before and it always looks hot!!! I love a man with black eyeliner! Good luck!

I have been wearing make up since I was 14 and I'm now 41.
I would say I'm pretty good at doing it, I always loOK ok, but there is no way I can use the liquid eyeliner, you need to get yourself a good soft eyeliner, and to spread it on easily, you could just put a flame on the pencil for a second to make it soft, go as close as you can to the mirror, and do small dots under your eyelashes, then with the tip of your little finger or a cotton bud, smudge it across the lid.

Liquid eyeliner may be the culprit. I never look good with liquid, so I am back to the retractable pencil. The liquid is never consistent for me. I'd say go light with the eyeliner unless you're on stage for a play, or you're dressing up in drag. Then go heavier, but not extreme. Try using the kind of pencils that don't need to be sharpened, and keep practicing with the liquids. Eventually I think you'll get the hang of the liquid. I didn't have the patience and gave up too quickly!

Liquid liner is easy peasy once you know how - I personally love it. First you have to choose a really good liner, preferably in pen form (even I can't use the ones in a little pot that comes with a brush - they are so hard to get straight).

Shu Uemura make a FAB liquid eyeliner that lasts all day.

You click it to get the ink running, then, place a mirror under your chin and look down, then paint the line so its almost on top of your lashes. Its actually very very easy with the pen form.

Also you can make the line a litte thicker in the middle by going over it.

HOWEVER - saying all that, I think men look the best if using kohl - liquid liner is a little contrived - I recommend Chanels Kohl pencil which is very soft, and applying in the lower rim, the waterline, and smuding it with a cotton bud for a softer effect.

I'd say use it sparingly... (this applies to the girls too!) Liquid eyeliner is a little tricky. Try putting it on thick then using a damp q-tip to take off the excess. If you're still haveing problems try a dark grey shawdow or powder liner with a liner brush. Its softer and easier to control. Swish the brush around on the powder, tap off exces powder then brush along the lash line. Repeat until you get the desired effect.
Hope it helps.

If peter andre did it that's surely enough to stop any other man embarrassing themselves like that. LOL just kidding!

However if you really want to know, get an eyeliner pencil and a blending brush, available from most cosmetic counters! the brush is a thin one specifically designed to blend eyeliner to make eyes look smokey. Hold the eyes at the corner and go from the inside corner to the outside one, make it thicker on the outer corner.

If Jack Sparrow off Pirates of the Carribean can get away with it - and look sexy too - then i guess it's ok for you !!!

Enjoy :D

use a kohl pencil & just apply a little to the inside under eye lid. kohl pencils are for eyes & they're softer than like eyebrow pencils. when you apply the pencil, then just rub it gently like you're rubbing it off. that way you wont look like you obviously have it on. I think it looks dead sexy on a guy btw.
also when you apply it, close the eyes so that the colour goes a bit onto the top under eye lid.
liquid is no good for that. you want a pencil [soft kohl] because they can smudge & thats the look you want. get a girl to help, even some guys know how to do it.

Well, if you're just getting used to putting on eyeliner you should stick to pencil instead of liquid since it's more difficult to work w/. Just line the bottom eyelid, above the lashes and a little inside the lashes. it all depends on what kind of a look you want to pull off. just practice a lot and you'll get used to it =)

Liquid Eyeliner is VERY difficult to apply. I have only just got the hang of it myself. Buy an eyepencil until you find your feet. Then try the liquid.
Remember the golden rules!
Less is more.
On the lower eye looks good on boys.
And do it close to the eye for that really striking look.

Have fun lookin' Hawtt!

guys shouldn't wear eyeliner. however if you insist on doing so, apply to the bottom lids useing an "easyliner" pen. I don't recommend liquid unless youv'e had a lot of practice.
