If you had to choose the closest person to a perfect role model there is, who would it be? Giving a general is good, like a job, or volunteers, army troops. But if you can, give a specific person. They don't need to be famous, but if they're not famous, then give a brief description of why. They can have passed away or still be here doing what you think is amazing stuff.

My friend Will. Before he passed away, he was one of the most important people in my life. No matter what was going on, he could always make me laugh when I was depressed. He was also one of the strongest people I knew. Not physically, but emotionally and mentally. He had a hard life, but he held in. He got out of his abusive home, got off drugs, and even helped some of his friends get off drugs. He touched alot of lives, and never realized how much he affected people. If he were still here, he'd still be saving lives without knowing it. It's something subtle that can't really be explained. He was just one of those people who, when you were around him, made you feel like you could overcome your situation no matter what it was because you could see that he had overcome some horrible stuff without giving up. I still carry him in my heart and that gives me strength.

Currently my one of role models is Rosie O'Donnell. She supports my theory that ppl who seek the truth by asking questions and looking for accountability.
This is true for all political parties, religions and cultures.
Like many others, she is a person who demonstrates what one person can accomplish. For eg: one person with the right resources opens a community centre and school for one of the temporary communities of Katrina survivors. Some thing a WHOLE government couldn't do.
I am inspired by her for the enormous task we hv to give LOVING homes to children, supporting children, constantly letting them know that they matter, and showing them all the rewards of a diverse supportive culture.
And I would hope ppl will hv the decency to respect my choice.

No one is a perfect role model. Also, are you aware that you're biasing the results of your survey by suggesting military personnel within your question?
