We already replaced the front and rear seals, and the pan gasket, and the rubber gromet around the dipstick tube. I drove it , maybe 10 miles, and the front seal blew out again. Now it leaks worse than it before.

having worked on these transmissions before i can tell you that it is a 4L60 series trans. the problem i have found with them is that it has pressure issues and has been problems for sometime. they make a seal retainer that goes on the front pump to help secure the seal in place. its not a bad idea to put some indian head on the seal and the seal retainer on it. that should hold it in place. If the shop that keeps putting the seal in is using the original retainer, it could be stretched and needs a new one installed along with the seal. Also have them put a pressure gauge on it to see what the pressures are in it. if it is too high then there is a valve problem in the pump or valve body. Just for your information the g.m. reference part number for the retainer is 8654491. that should get you a new retaining clip from you local g.m. dealership.
I hope this helps and good luck in the repair.

are you particular it,s the seal leaking or the front pump? even if that's the seal then it may nicely be the incorrect length or your getting it in crooked. make certain there,s no longer any burrs or marks the position the seal is going and tap gently each of ways around the seal until eventually it,s each of the quicker into the pump. also examine the neck on the torque converter for any burrs or marks.

Sounds like you are building up to much pressure in side the transmission. You need to check the vent tube on top of the transmission to see if it is clogged.

The bushing is worn out in the pump, alowing to much oil past it .pressure builds up and it blows out.
