nothing is right or wrong.
what matters is what YOU think.
if you think that sex is fine before marriage, then you might as well go for it, if you are ready.
if according to you, the sanctity of marriage is virginity, then please dont foresake your virginity for anything.
every human is different.
they have different views, attitudes and thoughts.
you really cannot change them. but you have to accept people as they are.
on a personal note, i would say that sex is fine as long as one is ready.
it doesnt really matter if it is before marriage or after.

I think the sex before marriage thing is primarily religious in nature; sex and marriage are not really connected in any other way that I can see unless culturally in your area it is prohibited.
In the U.S. sex before marriage issue is either cultural or religiously influenced; it's a personal choice between agreeing partners.
There is not right or wrong about it; be safe.

Hebrews 13:4 says, "Marriage should be honored by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral."
II Timothy 4:3-4 also says, "For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to muths."
The first verse says that we are to keep ourselves pure until we are married. The second verse says that people will do what they need to, to be able to feel justified in their sins. It is only right to question what is going on, we live in a sinful world...and there is sin all around us. We need to just stick to what the Bible says, and do our best to live to honor and glorify God!

I think if you live in a heterosexual right wing society that's probably true. What do the rest of us do? I am not legally allowed to marry my partner because I'm gay, unless I travel around the country to find a state that allows it.Does that mean I can't have sex? I think two consenting adults can make that decision without Big Brother telling us what to do.

There is nothing wrong with sex before marriage, as long as it is consensual and safe. If you think it is wrong, please come up with a logical argument (in other words do not quote the bible) to support your view.

what is right for you may not be right for me.
If you don't believe in pre-maritial sex, then don't do it.
As for me, I will live my life as I deem fit.
