Yes, I am a member. Contact Mensa International (I haven't got the number handy) in London, You would get it from 118118 or 118247. They will send you a form and a test. You do the home test and have to be self disciplined to follow the rules about time etc. Then send that back, and they will give you an idea of your IQ (intelligence quotient) and invite you to go and take a supervised test, somewhere convenient. Then they will write to you with your score, and when in you will get news letters and magazine and info on meet-ups in your area. I took mine in the Birkbeck college, one of the London University buildings. Give it a shot! Good luck!

You must be over the age of 10 and 1/2. If you are then:

You have to take a supervised IQ test..

Mensa use two different tests:

The Cattell III B where you need a score of 148 or over to qualify and the Cattell Culture Fair where you need a score of 132 or over.

For an application form and dates go to:

You have to go to a centre to take the exam, look up the web site to get details. Also remember you can only take 1 mensa exam in a lifetime!

A friend (rival) of mine and I took the test at the age of 15 and we were both informed that we were in the top 1% of the country. After reading that, I knew it was B.S.

...because there is no way HE was that smart! lol

Joking aside, it is not an intelligent act to want to know how intelligent you are. It is driven by pure ego and the ego is the antithesis of intelligence. Therefore, Mensa tests CANNOT measure intelligence at all - merely intellect. There is a very important difference.
