OK, I'm feeling down, feeling blue. I get calls from home in what feels like once in a blue moon, and then the conversation goes like this.

My folks- Hi! What's up? Anything special?

Me- well, nothing earth shaking...but..

MF- Well, then...we're running out of balance. Phone you next blue moon! Bye!

I can understand their need for economy, and that being the only one from the family who's away, I also understand that they probably don't miss me as much as I miss them...you don't feel the difference much when one person out of half a dozen is missing- but that one person sitting in the middle of some No Man's Land does...

While I'm on the whining trip, I might as well slip into adolescent whining and say this...NOBODY UNDERSTANDS ME HERE! When I speak things, they just don't understand what I'm talking about, they just stare at me as if I were crazy...

Is it time to meet the psychiatrist yet or what???

Summary of the story- I feel SOOO bad.
Question- What do I do?

I am assuming you are a college freshman living away from home for the first time.
If so, please go to the student health center and find out about some short term counseling.
What you are feeling is normal - you are homesick!
However, it will help to talk to a counselor about it.
Things will get better!
You are not crazy and you are not alone. My bet is that there are others at school who feel the same as you. Why don't you look around you and find another lonesome soul who feels out of place. The two of you can be "blue" together.
Good luck!

you didn't mention why you had to be away, maybe they think you really don't care for them either or once again it's doing something for helping out the family. BUT that was kinda rude of your family the way they talked to you I think. Some people are not good at talking and expressing and saying the right words. Everyone's personality is different, your just not the talkative/conversation type thats all, it's NOT like they dont miss you or like you. When I talk to my sisters too, I don't have much to say either, not much conversation from them either so nothing big don't worry about it!

*HMM i wonder where u r.. noone around u said wow! Hanging around other people well help you or just keep urself busy with other things and you'll be fine!

If is usual to feel like that. I am in a family for 6 and when I leave I feel like noone misses. Your faimly does care. They called you and they probebly think that you might want your space. trust me they do miss you espically when you arn't in the house doing the special things you do. Your not crazy your just home sick. Just keep your head up and keep the reminder of the day you go home in your head. Also make the best of your trip. As soon as you get home you probebly will change your mind of being homesick when your around you siblings

yes--you sound depressed--Go see a counselor--and get yourself out of this pity trip--you are not so far depressed that you don't realize what is happening to you--You need to find a new support system and some new activities/interests so that you are not sitting by the phone waiting for others to make you happy--See a counselor and change your life--you will be glad...

Are you away at college or something? If so, try to make new friends with similar intrests...maybe you wont be so lonely. Look up clubs os groups you are interested in....get out there and meet people. Make your own new life and you wont miss your old one so much
Good Luck!

It may be helpful to see a counselor, you may be going through a mild depression. But we all go through bad spells for some time or longer for some people. Don't feel too bad, you are okay. Talk to someone who can help you.

write letters! it will keep you busy, and they would be more likely to write back then to call! find activities to occupy your time, and go out and meet new people and make new friends. try new things, a new job, it will keep your mind concentrated on something else!

Looks like you are feeling home sick. Try going out, hang out with friends that you might have, get yourself busy.
