If I had to choose, it'd be the first option. In reality, no job will keep you on for 30 years these days, so you just won't get 30 years doing the same hours for the same pay. Wouldn't want to, either. It'd bore me to tears.

That's easy...40 hours for less pay...I have a kid and NO amount of money is worth missing any more of his day than I ABSOLUTELY have to. We could certainly be quite comfortable with $60 K.
