Don´t know about Las Galeras or Las Terrenas, but there are several hotels in the city available.
Also, there is a great NEW Club de Playa called CAYENAS DEL MAR opened which has a pretty much small and private beach. Cayenas del Mar is located in the city´s outskirts (short distance about 8 to 10 kms from the heart of the city). You could contact them at:
