Why do so many conservatives support and defend a drug addict and drug smuggler like Rush Limbaugh?

Because he tells them what they want to hear and make them feel good about themselves, regardless of the facts.

I am a Republican and don't listen to Rush so get your facts straight there, buddy boy. I guess as a liberal you do support terrorism and infidelity (remember the Cole and Monica?)

I think so many conservatives support him because they agree with what he has to say and contrary to what liberals would like you to believe, they understand that addiction is a disease and can cause people to make mistakes.

I'm a republican, personally I don't like the guy. Nor do I like Bill Clinton for smoking up, and Obama for the same. I have no problem with people who do puff, but I don't think they belong in office even if they didn't inhale.
