I am the proud mother of a 3 year old but my husband and I are desperate to give him a sibling. We have been trying for almost 2 years now. I have very irregular periods, so cannot count on charting ovulation. This morning an ovulation test detected an LH surge. I was hoping that some of you could give me tips or advice to make the most of this experience. Needless to say we will adopt the policy of rabbits tonight but any other advice on how to try to make our dream come true? Thank you for your help!

You said your periods are irregular, but you should still be able to chart temperature and tell when you are ovulating. My periods are also irregular, but I can still tell by my temps and cervical fluid when I ovulate.

Which kind of OPK are you using? Have you tried saliva testers?

Check out the book Taking Charge of Your Fertility. It has a lot of helpful advice.
