Pregnancy hormones can really screw up your digestive tract. That's why some people get morning sickness, others get diarrhea, others get constipation...
Bowel movements should not cause problems with your baby. If you feel like you are pushing too hard, just relax and wait a few hours until the next time you need to use the bathroom. Don't try to schedule bowel movements, since your body is going to be a little wacky for the next few months. Avoid excessive constipation by making sure you drink plenty of water, and get enough fiber in your diet. (Fruits and veggies!) If things get worse, look into stool softeners.
And I know you said not to say this :-) But, don't be afraid of discussing this with your doctor. It's a typical part of pregnancy and he/she will be able to set your mind at rest. Also, that's the best resource for advice on what laxatives might be safe to use if it comes to that.

No, you cannot harm the baby. Drink plenty of water and eats lots of fiber rich foods to help you with your problem. In the meantime, there are some pregnancy safe stool softeners and laxatives you can take. Call your docs office and ask which one would be best for you. You shouldn't have to suffer in fear of hurting your baby.
You very well may develop hemmorhoids though...for that, get some Tucks medicated cooling pads, and some Preparation H. They will get better...I promise!
Congrats on the pregnancy and good luck!

The baby will be fine, but you need to increase your fiber and water intake and your green leafy vegetables. This will help to soften the stool and. Things like bran muffins and salads should do the trick. Avoid cheeses they tend to constipate you. You can also take fiber supplements or stool softeners but you should talk to your OB first to make sure you can even take them and they are not harmful to the baby or you. As always if things do not improve contact your OB Right away to see what the next step should be. Good Luck and DON"T Stress it only makes things worse.

Try to clean the area with some antisaptic like detol and try using hot water as it will reduce the swelling and always use water to clean there........take 2 table spoons of castor oil in morning and their are many ointments available for external use for hemorrhoids......try your best not to take any internal medicine.........yet i would suggest to go to an internist and then gynecologist as well show to gynecolgist what internist has given before use......They baby will not harm with your problem however be carefull in taking any internal medicine...Congrats and good luck......May God make u the mother of a Pious child......

regrettably, they're very elementary (because of better blood pass in that area and slowed digestive gadget). Your ideal guess is to make certain you have become a lot of water and fiber to sidestep constipation. The straining from constipation is a considerable reason. even be certain you reside lively. All of this might help preclude it... yet not something is a hundred%. Plus, the stress of delivery might reason them too (adventure speaking). reliable success!

No, you can't hurt the baby by having a BM.
Your baby is VERY well protected in your womb.
Be sure you are getting enough fluids so you don't have such a hard time.
