how soon can a woman release an egg after her period?

it has been four days since i stopped my period. i have had ovulation pains. could i be ovulating? ( i thought that you didn't ovulate until at least eight days after your period ended)

Most women ovulate around 14 days before the start of their next period. I have a 31 day cycly and ovulate on or around day 17, which is 12 days after my 5 day cycle ends. If you have a 28 day cycle you would ovulate on or around day 14, which would be about 9 days after your cycle ends (if it's 5 days long). So it really depends on your cycle length. Sometimes ovulation will occur earlier or later than usual during a cycle.

Actually some people like me ovulated right after there periods and some during there periods, I got this information from the library, also each of my pregnancy i had gotten pregnant right after my period. my first son i remember just getting off my period, having sex, and i did not have sex again for that entire month so when i took a pregnancy test i new exactly when i got pregnant. So if your having ov pain you may be ovulating, other signs of oving is being really wet and feeling very sexual. Everyone ov days are different, So try to chart your ov days by your symptoms.

I have 31 days period, so I calculate my ovulation day many times on different sites, and according to them it suppose to be on March 22, but I bougth OPK and start doing it day 4 after my period end, and I actually had ovulation on March 17. Everybody is different, just by OPK and you will know hen exactly you have ovulation.

You do have a constrained form of eggs. you rather have greater suitable than you will ever use in a liftime.
