I would choose the period around the time of Little House on the Prairie. It was a time of developing our Country and hard work and struggle. They worked very hard but life was simpler and less complicated. People worked together to benefit the entire community and pleasures were much simpler too. It was also an era of on thee approach to the 20th century and electric and the telephone. All and all the world was expanding. Today it is just to small. Nothing is unheard of and it limits the sense of adventure. While communications are a great gift the also incur problems with giving us overload.
I did live in the sixties and watching for days the results of the assinations and the Bloody War leaves our Psychic scarred. While it is good to know...it is painful. The sixties were great and I was active in a few issues. It was an exciting time. But I think when the pioneers were working so hard yet rellitively free from stress. I could project myself back there.

I'm pretty lucky to be living in the USA right now. But if I had to choose another time and place I would take Tahiti in the 1500s. Unspoiled natural beauty and the safety of an island nation. This was before the European navies brought death and disease to paradise.

I'd like to revisit the mid to late 60's, in the uk, specifically London. But I'd like to choose my age too! I'd want to be about 23-24, old enough to know my mind, but young enough to be part of the scene.
Or the late 50's as a child, about 10 or 11. If I had to be my real age I'd choose now, better off, good health care but I'd pick somewhere warmer than here!!

I would like to live back in the 60s. Everything really did seem better then and most people were very happy. Not like today when everyone grumbles about every damn thing. we did not have a great deal of money but we worked hard and played hard - it was great.
