Gosh, it can mean so many things - an eye infection, the HVAC system in the building where you spend your time, allergies, a clogged tear duct,.......so many things can cause dry eyes. You could try an OTC product like Visine or something for a few days and if this doesn't help then definitely go see your physician.

You might be sleeping with your eyes open. This is more common than you might think. There are prescription eye drops and cream (Yes, cream and ointment for your eyes) that help a LOT.

USE CLEAR EYES FOR DRY EYES
it helps make then not dry anymore and if there red then it'll take that away too.

You might be tired. You might need to be drinking more water and need to use eye drops which wake your eyes up and keep moisture in.

it means you have chroc dry-eye. go see your optomotrist. there are medicines out there that can help your condition
