The polar bear is neither threaten or endangered. It's problems are a results of changing environment, not so much human activities. Most wild tigers species are threaten or endangered. Mostly due to man's encroachment on it's habitat and that the tiger will kill a human, making it target for removal. Even in India, where animals are sacred.
