To me, Abortion is a womans choice, not the government, and not man, or religion. What is happening to womens rights anymore??

I think we can all agree that there will never be a time that everyone agrees on this subject. It's a very personal subject and not enough research is done...people just prefer to shout out their knee-jerk reactions, usually what they've been taught in church. I'll say what I always say on this issue: it's not black and white right or wrong. There will be special circumstances and considerations because every person is different.
For me personally, I don't believe in partial-birth abortions unless they're medically necessary (and they rarely are.) If it's taken you months and months to decide whether or not to keep the baby, well...too bad.
I think that the emotional & physical consequences of having an abortion are usually not discussed leaving women unprepared as to what to expect. It's my hope that women take birth control into their own hands (use the pill, patch, whatever and make sure he's wearing a condom!!!) rather than being faced with this unfortunate choice.
I will ALWAYS stand by a woman's right to choose what is best for her physical and mental wellbeing. It's not for me to judge people, nor is it up to the government or even your church.

I'm chosen to proceed with an abortion and REGRET my decision however due to my financial stiuation and living arrangements I was not in the best of situation to care for myself or a child with an abusive other, if you will never thought I'd have children but that yearning has embedded me with hope.
Abortion is not right but I won't say its wrong, it just isn't fair to the child though it is an alternative of several

Abortion should not be a government issue. If the government wants to make it where it's illegal then the parties involved should be the ones supporting the child not welfare. If the non custodial parent isn't paying child support then he/she needs to be sterilized to prevent welfare from ballooning out. This way it makes the ones responsible for the act responsible for the child. It's a rotten shame when it's the tax payers that have to pay for people sexual acts.

I would like to answer you in the moral point of view. There are different view to something and I would like to venture on the morality of abortion to answer your question.
First, pregnancy is suppose to be a product of love, the fruit of a man and a woman united as one in the act of love, which many now just call sex. Perhaps because of its casualness just like having a kiss for some, then by all means it was just sex, an encounter solely for the satisfaction of the sexual attraction or lust , and rarely indeed a consumation of love. For the sake of argument, lets just assume the pregnancy resulted from love, then the fruit of that love should not be terminated. Sex is a responsibility and such one especially the man should be man enough to face the consequence and thus should never be terminated.
But what if it just out of an encounter, a one-night stand sort of thing? Then it is not out of love but lust! Do you have the right to abort it then? Before you answer this, what is your belief of LIFE? Is it a gift from God or not? Do you have the right to end something you dont even have the smallest power to create? BUt we do the act of sex that resulted the pregnancy?! Indeed you do but only God gives life and only him could end a life.
Abortion for me thus is like a suicide you ended an innocent life of your own making and recklessness. That child has the right to live.
Abortion therefore is wrong. Even medical indications of abortion could sometimes be wrong. As in the case of one cancer patient mother who went into chemotherapy and radiation unknowingly she was pregnant. Doctors taking care of her strongly advised her to have an abortion for the fear of having an abnormal fetus or child. Many times during the course of pregnancy she had bleeding prompting her doctors to do abortion but she consistently refused, with strong faith that God give her the pregnancy God will take care of it. Indeed the pregnancy ended in preterm but the child survive and was normal all the way. Today he was her only joy. See we just have to trust God for everything that happens in our lives.
Everything that happens in our lives has a purpose. Meditate on it and find the lessons from it.
God be with you and hope you will never support any form of abortion in your life.

Abortion is wrong. If a person is responsable enough to have sex then they should take responsability for there actions thats what condoms and birth control was made for! There are millions who cant have children. Adopt the baby out.

Life begins at conception. That is a scientific fact. Whether you believe that the new life has enough value to have a right to live is another question. I believe that every human being, regardless of age, race, gender, SES, or location has a right to life. There is NO justification for the willful direct or indirect killing of an unborn person.

I dont think abortions are the way to go. Adoption is the best choice. There may be situations where abortion may be necessary like rape, medical reasons, or incest. I sure wouldnt want to carry a child if I had been raped by my dad or brother or something like that.

i believe that it is very wrong unless the pregnancy was caused by a rape. and even then they do have the morning after pills now. you should not be allowed to have an abortion just b/c you can't keep your legs closed and use protection.

I personally don't believe in abortions! But then i have never been but in that kind of situation! so i guess it would depend on what happened like of the girl was rapped and got pregnant than or if its going to bring harm to the girl, but if the girl is sleeping around than she needs to take responsibility, and so does tha dude.
