Wow that's a good question. I love traveling but have serious food issues with just regular food.
Think I'd have to pass on the around the world trip but if I had to eat peas to get to Disney World, I'd do it.

I traveled around latin america, and did something similar and as much as I love to travel, I dont think it's a good idea. I was suffering from many diffrent illnesses when in Peru and Ecuador. Alot of them from the food. I have seen that show you are talking about, and i figure he travels with a doctor and local food/medical specialist. The possiblity of Dysentari (hope i spelled it right) or parasitic infestation is huge. Remember water can kill in thrid worlod countries.

I was watching that Bizarre Foods show too. Isn't it a little gross to hear the food smacking and sloshing around in his mouth? I know they do that for enhancement, but it just makes me this he is disgusting, not necessarily the foods.

It would be really hard, but I'd go some where else in my mind as I munched away. There are so many places I'd love to visit and learn about their cultures. Nothing like traveling to far and sometime near places for cultural enlightenment. So, pass those yummy termites will ya.

that's an amazing prize, but eating a foot long worm doesn't sound too appealing... besides that, i have to work for a living lol.. i'll cont. to go to the exotic restraunts in hollywood for a taste of the rest of the world.

I love that show. I think I could handle traveling with Andrew Zimmerman. He's pretty awesome and goes into it all with an open mind. I'm pretty sure I could do it.
