The longest I have been with someone is 5 years. It started out being a great relationship, but now it's kinda rocky. We are still together, and I am happy.

Been together for 13 years and been married for 11 of them. It takes effort from both of us on a daily basis, and we're not happy 100% of the time, but who is? I would definitely say that we're happy overall. When you've been together that long, "happy" almost seems like sort of a superficial term though...your relationship is so much deeper than that.

I had a 5 year marriage. We married after knowing each other for just 3 months. Had 2 kids. Discovered his "real self" & got divorced. We have been divorced for 6 years now. I am very, very happy.

5 years, did not end happy.. did have some good times. I have determined that you never really know someone even after 5 years....Very happy now coming up on a year with current b/f...
