Sorry, sweetie, the only way to "schedule" your period is to take birth control, and that really only lets you know exactly when you'll get it - and it takes more than a couple of weeks.
Your best bet is to pack enough of the products you prefer so that they're handy and you don't get stuck using a brand or kind you don't like. Also: if you want to go swimming, be sure and pack some tampons, too...
Toss in a bottle of Ibuprophen and some vitamins with iron. The vitamins and the iron should help you feel as well as you can so you can enjoy your vacation IN SPITE of "the curse".
Have fun on holiday!

If you're on the pill, you can do a little fiddling. When you get done with the third week of pills and are about to start the last week (the period week), skip that week and go straight to the next pack. You should only do this once a year or so, and ask your doctor about it first. Doing it too often can be bad for your heart. I did it a few years ago (on my doctor's reccomendation) because I was due for my period on my honeymoon.

If you are on the birth control pill you can delay having your period. If you have a pill pack of 21 days, this is done by continuing onto your next pack of pills instead of taking the 7 days break between finishing a pack and starting the next, (or if you have a pill pack of 28 days, don't take the last 7 days worth as they are placebo pills, just there to remind you to take your pill every day, and go right to starting your next pack).

If you are on birth control pills, stop taking them early of continue to take them until after your vacation.
That is the only way that I know.

like the other girls have said alter your birth control. or stop taking it. but you can also try looking up miscarriage inducing herbs. there are some like yarrow i think. which will help you to get your period. there not harm full. I've never tried them but I've been told about them. good luck and if you don't get the curse be your trip take loads of supplies with you. have fun.
