It's a Dell Inspiron 1150, about 2 1/2 years old. 2.6 gh processor, 30 gb harddrive, 256 ram, cd rom but NO cd or dvd burner, 13.5" screen, windows xp.
it has lots of little problems:
the ac adapter no longer works (can be replaced for about $80)
the cd-rom no longer works
the ethernet port does not work
the computer runs pretty slowly
one of the keys is missing
it has lots of little scratches etc.
what is a reasonable price to ask? Thanks for your help.

I'd ask for $100 and see how that goes. I would probably buy it for 100 if I needed one just to use for typing up documents and such. Definitely not worth too much more than that. If the cd-rom, ac-adapter and ethernet port worked I would say $200, but if someone wanted to use the ethernet port they would need a new motherboard....
Ask for $100 and see how it goes. If not go for $80, I wouldn't sell it for any less than that, it still funtions and either does have wireless or an external wireless adapter could be bought for internet usage.

i haven't any apple products yet from analyze i might say they are actually not worth it. i've got regarded on the cost and specs and apple computers are very extreme priced with relatively low specs. I have been given a working laptop or laptop from Acer and it became merely approximately 0.5 the cost with plenty extra useful specs. listen girl i work with computers and your laptop is crappy and worth really nutin except to let a little child play with it cause that is what is seems you let happen anyways.
