well first you got to work together on a song then you have to practice it before you go to a recording studio so make the song first

All good bands start out in a garage, name your bad "Not Together " because in order to have a band you need to have a little knowledge of music and how to play instruments. If you know how to play, you had to of started on something in the beginning to learn. You can buy instruments at music stores. They are not cheap so keep that in mind. Good-Luck.

Yeah, a talent and ability to play an instrument.
That is, unless you want to be sing rap or hip hop since they're no talent that bascially dub their voice over hundreds of times, steals and mixes others music cause they have no ability to create music themselves and then dresses like thugs and hoochies.
