O.K My girlfriend broke up with me 2 weeks ago. She gave pretty feeble excuses, and we had been dating for a year. I had no contact whatsoever with her, until she asked the other day if i would mind going for a drink with her as friends. I went along...we just argued...and she spent the whole time telling me about a guy friend she met up wiv 4 1st time in 3yr...i stupidly admitted i loved her, and said that this whole friends thing wasnt working, and i walked out of the room. Since, I get texts saying how hurtful she was, sorry,& could we be friends.i ignored her.she then asks my friends have they seen me today cos she's worried about me!Anyway, yest i had enough,& textd her back saying that she hurt me 2much & to leave me alone,i said u've moved on,so should i.anyway, she replied saying she still has feelings 4me,& misses parts of our relationship, but doesnt want to date again.i've agreed to meet her 4drink 2moro, and have now backed out..she said she was naive 2 think friends would work

Wow, she got over you pretty quick! She wants the best of both worlds but, she genuinely sounds like she just wanted to be your friend. You are right to not see her. Two weeks isn't that long to have healed over a one year relationship. Cut your tie with her and maybe in the future, if you happen to see her again, you could try to be friends, again. Good Luck!

You are doing the right thing, so stick to your guns. She wants her cake and eat it too. She loves the attention she gets from you still, but also wants to play the field. You need to just completely ignore her and move on, so u can meet some lucky girl that will deserve your attention and love. Ignoring her completely will make her realize that she can't play games with u.

Friends wont work not while your feelings are as strong as they are. Move away move on, nothing like a hot new girl friend to get over an old one.

Forget this person. You two are not meant to be a couple. You don't get on together. You are not compatible as "Just friends". Don't contact her at all, in any way. Now you can get on with your life. without her. Good luck.

I think you cant be frinds with her because you still have feelings, it just wont work out and you are not going to move on unless you stop seeing her. I think is better if you dont go tomorrow. You need to stop seeing her, obviosly she doesnt want to be with you so why waste your time?

You did fine, but best to stop seeing her. No future there. Move on after you grieve for a short time. You will find another girl.

It sounds like she can't let go of the security of knowing that if things don't work out she can come running back to you. Do you really want to be her security blanket?
