I'm a PA. is this cramping feeling happening around the same time each month? If so it is almost certainly do to the normal homonal process in females known as part of their menstrual cycle. It is normal. Some females have more cramping than others. It heralds the release of the egg from your ovary.

Go to your local planned parenthood clinic-sound's like you may have a cyst on your ovary, sometime's they just go away, but sometime's you need surgery to remove or drain it. Also, do you have period pain that's severe? if so, ask Dr. about endometriosis. You sound like your young, & & if you have heavy period's,painw/ period's,they can fix you before it get's worse(won't kill you, don't worry about that, but if you do have it they can get rid of it) My daughter 21yr. has a cy st on ovary & doe'snt need to do anything about it ,Dr. told her, but atleast get it checked(ultrasound)

Are you saying that when you had a PAP smear you felt cramping afterwards? That is perfectly normal. Some women also experience pain when they are ovulating - again, perfectly normal. Could also just be gas.
