so my boyfriend and i were talking and fooling around while watching a porno produced by Vivid. i have made a few films with past girlfriends and after the break up ended up on the internet. well my boyfriend thinks that i should go a do porn for Vivid. tell me, to the general public, are porn stars respected? and if i do this do you think that it will ruin my relationship w/ my boyfriend? by the way i would only be doing it w/ women not men.

Porn stars are respected in their community, and by their fans. Vivid does some tasteful porn and actually has the better looking girls. A recent documentary questions actresses in this field and they said sometimes pressures to do extreme stuff gets a little out of hand. One thing leads to another, but if you just take it slow . .
Why not get some sponsors and start your own web page? Could be safer, you call the shots and call use a name to select your audience.

Who do you want to be respected by? I wouldn't worry about the general public respecting you, but what about your parents? I would want their respect. If you want to live that type of life, that's your business.
