They could have warned me that they were not super humans and that adults are not always right just because they are adults.
We are not perfect and we all make mistakes.
I look back on some of the hypocrisies and it is incredible to me that i was not more of a rebel.
I am a mother now and have a way more open dialog with my children.
I explain things to them in terms that they understand and this let's them know that I value their feelings and their input.
Gone are the days of children should be seen and not heard.
My kids keep me sharp and on my toes.
They know that I am not perfect and they love me just the
same.
I learn from them and they learn from me.
It is great.

They were so young and naive, they might have warned me about that. I had to find out nearly everything on my own...and i did....but taught my children early.
