I and my family going to Mesa March 25 thru 29. Were going to Cubs play. What another thing in Mesa?

There's a great miniature golf course and arcade on Hampton east of Country Club. The weather may still be nice for this, or you could go in the evening.
There's lots of things in the Phoenix area. How old are your kids? What kinds of things do you like?

well there are lots of thugs LOL.. I used to live there and it is really not all that nice of a city. If you want fun and safety, try Tempe or Scottsdale. They are much nicer cities with more to do in terms of restaurants, clubs, entertainment etc. I know that there are people that swear Mesa is nice but the 5 years I spent there were crime ridden and I did all I could to avoid that stuff. If you stick to downtown Mesa you should be ok....it has been redone and there are some nice museums....other than that you should check out Phoenix, scottsdale and Paradise Valley....all are very nice and extremely close to mesa....5-15 min drive.....
