Why do people have to always change stuff to outside of home?

Most of the time they make it look worse by adding a bunch of crap!

It is a way to put their stamp of ownership on something. It will reflect their personality and shows that their house belongs to them. Yes, some things are ugly, but it reflects the owner's personality.
