Knowledge is not the same as wisdom. And I meant fate in terms of it's situation and circumstances and what those change into with the passage of time which I believe can be actively changed with wise efforts, to change there course for the better, by researching how to do that and then doing it, if you will. And as for the largest military I believe that to use that military foolishly would make it impotent at achieving what it sets out to do and therefor making it not effective without wisdom guiding it.

wisdom can not ensure that the best descicions are made and best actions taken but by using wisdom to try to do those very things then a person or a nation or even a world can at least strive for that ideal, and in doing so improve the situation and circumstances there in, there fate so to speak.

nothing can control fate. If you belive in the idea of fate, then you are at the mercy of a higher being with some predetermined plan for ones life, or in this case, a nation. Knowlage enables one to make better decisions, but knowlage doesn't insure that the best decision will be made.
