Because he doesn't play for the 'right' club!! If he was at United or Liverpool or Chelsea he'dve been in.
Plus *takes deep breath* Ashley Cole, Wayne Bridge, Jamie Carragher, Matt Taylor, Gareth Barry, Steven Warnock and Nicky Shorey fans will all say they should be in before him, and probably 4 of the first 5 should (not Bridge cos he isn't a regular for Chelsea)

mclaren needs expeirence but baines is a quality player, i hope young players like baines walcott bale young lennon nugent get handled right cos they will be quality players in a few years if they dont get put down all the time by the papers

i think he should be in the squad at some point if england dont win these matches coming up. I think wayney bridge is so underused by chelsea. hes played better than cole when hes played this year. i think any chelsea fan would agree.
