go to winningwriters.com if you want to eneter her in some contests. but whatever you do DO NOT use poetry.com!!!!! they are a scam! here's a like to a site that talks about it if you want some proof. http://poetrynotcom.tripod.com/
i used them and i regret it because i sent them some of my best stuff but i can't enter it in some contests now because it's already 'published' in another book. (even tho they just pasted my poem in. mine isn't even in other people's copies).
hope this helps!
peace

Try the contests as a previous poster mentioned. If you have serious intentions that is the way to go. The internet is poetic wasteland.

Online is a terrible outlet for poetry. Poetry.com will try to scam you into buying their book or you will be littered with obese girls complaining about their troubles. EITHER way you're wasting your time.

There is also a site called http://www.poetry.com that has information about poetry, and people can even submit poems they write for poetry contests. There is also a book that the website publishes that is made up poems submitted by people who sign up at the site (my ex-fiancee even has one of her poems published as the very first page in one of the books, but I don't know what volume or edition it was). Anyway, it is a pretty safe invironment, with some good links on it.

poetry.com is good spot to put some of it up on the web for review. I had a few published on there when I was in college.
