I never knew this till my m8 told me the other day, that the first X-box 360's case melted. Because the fan wasn't brilliant and neither was the casing and it was all down to too much game play. That's why they had to upgrade the fan and the plastic in order for it to of been able to sell as good as it does.

Yea, i heard that this happened alot with the first version of the 360 to be released, but they have fixed it, and can fix yours if you think it has heating problems..

The first gen 360 had cooling problems inside the case that were fixed pretty quick. You can contact them if your 1st gen 360 melted down and they will replace it.

It was only the prototype that had the case melted, not the 360s that were sold.

I think ive heard this from one of my freinds not sure though becouse I most likley didnt beleive him or thought it was a useless fact but thats cool though talk about future tech lol.
