there r 2 approaches:
with friends- when ur at the mall and trying on make-up have her try on a less "revolting" shade. maybe if u talk it up enough, she'll get the hint and buy it.
with good friend- tell her "i just need to tell u. i mean what r friends for? um... that lipstick is revolting. i've been trying to come up with a way of telling u and i even went so far as to ask random strangers on the internet for advice. cause i dont want to hurt you. would u rather hear it from me now or from some nasty cow who might yell it in public or something. here try this color"
my advice to u; u should just coem right out and tell her. it such a mundane thing, that it shouldnt cause a fight. if it doe u should probablly re-think ur frindship

Take her shopping and tell her you are looking for a new lipstick. You can then tactfully suggest alternative colours for her to try on, without upsetting her feelings.

If the physician pronounced to positioned on a helmet, i think of i might recommend getting one that had the dying Reaper on it, in cutting-side black, of course. Black is elegant and is going with each little thing. And to pimp it out, it desires some sparkling, small diamonds extra (or if some thing slightly much less costly is needed, iridescent silver airborne dirt and dust might artwork). Oh, the chicks might like it for beneficial, ba--beee! i does no longer lie approximately this. Yayyyyy, Ike! *oops, sorry bout that!* ?

Sue's answer (the first one) is a good suggestion; however, do think first. She may think she looks great in it and it is, after all, only your opinion. It's possible you wear something she hates but chooses not to tell you. We're all individuals, and I don't think it's anyone's job to tell someone that what they're wearing doesn't suit them. Beauty is, after all, in the eyes of the beholder.

buy some sample lipsticks and tell her to try them on with you for fun. once a shade looks good on her tell her playfully"wow, now you can finally change your lip color from that awful pink one, haha"

you don't like her pink lipstick? do you like her?? rather then telling her how revolting she looks, why not give her a lip lock and kiss it off her ... it's a win-win for you!

Don't tell her that the pink doesn't suit. Tell her what would suit. Won't sound as horrible when its put like that.
