You can't save a marriage by yourself.....only if two people is willing

You're fighting a losing battle if you even try to fight for a marriage where the other party has gone limp, and doesn't want to save it. What's the point. I know you probably feel desperate because you love this person, and want so bad for it to work out, but the brutal truth of the matter is, sometimes it doesn't work out, no matter how badly you want it to work. You have to just pick yourself up from the ashes...and move on. It will hurt for a while, but with time, comes resolve, and you can begin to live again once the pain gets a little lighter. Why try to be with someone that doesn't want to be with you? I had to keep repeating to myself, "I do NOT want to be with anyone that does NOT want to be with ME." You soon begin to really believe it....you deserve better anyway. Somebody is out there, waiting to be good to you...and you're stuck in purgatory waiting on THIS loser.

U can't it takes two people to make any relationship work. U can led a horse to water but u can't make him drink.

I sorry

U need to sit down and see what is better for u at this point of Ur life. What u can do is see a counselor and see what step u can take to better Ur self. Thing always go much better when u start to focus on Ur self and make changes in Ur life that will help u in the long run.

Yes it is essayer said than done, I should know I have been in Ur shoes for 5 years had a child with him. 7 months ago he said I need to explore the world. He didn't care of our relationship or his son. Now he out there dating woman left and right. He still calls me once a week to check on his son.
When one person in the relationship has it in their mind that they need to get out it doesn't matter how long u been together they will leave. Or worse cheat on u.

I hope this help u.

You can stay committed and true to things as long as possible and pray and seek help and see if anything changes however if it only gets worse and they do not want the marriage then get out and file for divorce as you cannot make someone love and want to be with you. Haave you asked your spouse to work on it with you at all and maybe even go to marriage counseling and have you been to counseling for you yet?

not enogh info..
however,
you dont "save a marriage" you save yourself, your self image , your self worth, your self esteem, whatever you wish to call it, from destruction and all thats bad in and of it I'd say...
There is soo much life out there, grab some of it, even if you do live in the same house with this loser..
make and save money, get a hobby, a few good friends and move in with one of them or mom or family member and show him you ARE a person with a life away from "it"

soo many options regardless....so many

good luck

I have been wondering that myself. My husband said the other day he realizes he hasnt been spending enough time with me and our daughter but then last night he leaves with his friend and today he is suppose to be at work but hes not he is running around with his friend while his mother has our daughter, and I am at work. His friend is the reason why we fight most of the time.

Tried it for years and it cannot be done. Save yourself the time and anguish and get out while you can.
