There used to be a female wrestler called The Fabulous Moolah back in the 1950's, she wrestled for the Wrestling promotion by Vince McMahon's father and later for Vince McMahon's WWF and subsequently WWE later on.
Won her title in 1956 and held it till 1984. The Title was World Women's Championship. Lillian Ellison was her real name.
She is still alive and is marketed by the WWE as being the wrestler with the largest reign as a champion by any athelete in any professional sport.
